>> First Crimes is a product of the highly dysfunctional creative world we live in. Blurring the lines between visual art, physical mediums and sonic assault the project acts as a pin and undercurrent for interpreting our digital chaos.

False Memories is about the dissection of personal narrative, gaslighting and the combustion of internal dialogue. The record plunges into themes of displacement and emotional overwhelm through the aesthetic themes of surveillance and performative confinement.

Developing their initial taste for industrial, dystopian sounds at Kaos and Unfold in London, First Crimes shies away from traditional four-on-the-floor kicks into off-kilter upthrusts and drum patterns. Futurist, highly technical and tactile sound palettes dominate the project.

Moving from London to Berlin during the pandemic led to new collaborators and outputs. A close partnership with 3D designer Ed Hendry saw the completion of the record's theme and visual aesthetic. Sharing a taste for deconstructed club music, immersive experiences and heavy breakdowns, their joint work can be seen in the video and website for False Memories.

Excellente collaboration ! Un nom que je retiendrai (facilement 😂) dans cet exercice technoid richement construit, ludique et entraînant, avec de bons choix sonores... Une belle surprise, sachant qu'individuellement j'accroche pas trop à ce qu'ils font avec Amor Satyr et Siu Mata. En tous cas, "Pingers, partie 1" et "Pingers, partie 11", sont excellents et j'attends la suite avec impatience... Et inquiétude mêlées. EklektikTrip
